Samus is a fighter yet to be added to Fraymakers via Fraytools. She was revealed in the McLeodGaming Discord Server and is the fifth character to be publicly revealed by radzo73.
Samus Aran (サムス・アラン, Samus Aran) is the protagonist of the Metroid series. Samus is the galaxy's most famous bounty hunter, thanks to her constantly helping the Galactic Federation in their fight against the Space Pirates. Samus is widely praised as one of Nintendo's most iconic heroes, and a groundbreaking example of proactive, powerful female protagonists in gaming.

Gimmicks[]
Samus starts each stock with 20 Missiles and 10 Super Missiles. Missile and Super Missile pickups are spawned when Samus hits an opponent with a non-projectile. Pickups are team-exclusive (signified by the color of their glow), meaning a Samus on the Red Team cannot pick up Missiles spawned by the Blue Team. Certain moves use a mixture of Missiles and Super Missiles.
If you press the attack button while rolling or air dashing, Samus will use the Flash Shift (from Metroid Dread) to blink straight forwards or backwards. Costs 2 Super Missiles to use, the cost increasing by 1 for every additional Flash Shift in a row, and can be performed up to three times in a row.
If you press the attack button while spotdodging, Samus will use the Phantom Cloak (from Metroid Dread) to turn invisible, but can only slow walk and single jump. Costs 3 Super Missiles per second, but can be cancelled before by shielding again.
Samus' now has a crawl, the Morph Ball. Attacking while crawling will have her jet forward using the Boost Ball from Project M/Prime, and then stop herself with the Spider Ball from Metroid II/Returns.
Moveset[]
Ground attacks[]
Attack
Description
Damage
Standard attack
Same as in Project+, but making extra sure that the first hit can actually lead into the second.
Forward tilt
Same as in Project+.
Up tilt
Same as in Project+.
Down tilt
A slide forwards, followed by a bicycle kick. Based on the Slide and Melee Counter combination in Metroid Dread.
Dash attack
Dashing Melee counter, from Metroid Dread.
Forward strong
Samus lets loose a barrage of shots. This move can be held as long as wanted; however, it uses 6 Missiles per second. Additionally, Samus ends with a Super Missile (or Missile, if Samus has no Super Missiles)
Up strong
At the cost of 10 Missiles, Samus uses the Flamethrower (Metroid Prime) to shoot flames, in a similar motion to her Up strong in Project+. This move can be held as long as wanted; however, it uses 5 Missiles and 2 Super Missiles every half-second.
Down strong
At the cost of 10 Missiles, Samus shoots the Ice Spreader (Metroid Prime) onto the ground, causing the surrounding area to turn to ice.
Aerial attacks[]

Same as in Project+.

Same as in Project+.
Grabs and throws[]
Attack
Description
Damage
Grab
Samus still uses the Grapple Beam, but it is shot from her hand instead of her Cannon. (functionally the same as Project+, based on Metroid Prime 3)
Pummel
Samus fires a point-blank Missile into the opponent. (Inspired by the counterattack cutscenes of Samus Returns’ and Dread’s Melee Attack) If she is out of Missiles, she will fire Beam shots instead.
Forward throw
Melee Counter, from Samus Returns and Metroid Dread. If the attack button is pressed again, Samus will spend 3 Missiles to launch a trio of Storm Missiles (from Metroid Dread) that home in on and attack the opponent.
Back throw
Same as in Project+.
Up throw
Spends 5 Super Missiles to hit the opponent with four chunks of ice from the Ice Beam. (based on Super Metroid.)
Down throw
Samus slams the opponent onto the floor, then spends 5 Super Missiles to fire a Spazer Beam into the air, for it to come crashing down onto the opponent. (based on Super Metroid.)
Other attacks[]
Attack
Description
Damage
Floor attack
Same as in Project+.
Ledge attack
Same as in Project+.
Special moves[]
Special move
Name
Description

Neutral special
Charge Beam
Charges her Power Beam. While charging, Samus can walk and double jump, but she cannot face a different direction nor grab the ledge. She can shoot her Beam in the eight cardinal directions. While at a full charge, she can pick up Super Missiles/Missiles from an increased distance, and if she crouches while at a full charge, will lay five Morph Bombs in a column on her.
Side special
Missile / Super Missile
Same as in Project+, but instead of the normal/smash inputs, a light tap launches a Missile, and a heavy press launches a Super Missile.
Up special
Shinespark
Samus stops in place. After a short amount of time, she rockets off in one of five directions (←↖↑↗→), stopping at a set distance. Heavy press of Special has Samus travel farther faster, but takes damage while doing so.
Down special
Morph Bomb
Same as in Project+.
Super Attack
Crystal Flash
Samus lays a Power Bomb. On activation, she uses Crystal Flash (from Super Metroid). Her Missiles and Super Missiles are automatically spent (one pair at a time, maximum 10 Super/Missiles), to heal 10% per pair.
