Rogue is an in-development fighter, to be added to Fraymakers via Fraytools. She was publicly revealed in the McLeodGaming Discord Server and is the second character to be revealed by snuffysam.
Rogue (real name Anna Marie LeBeau) is a mutant from the X-Men series of comics, with the ability to absorb powers from anyone she makes skin contact with. She was originally a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, but came to Charles Xavier for help, and eventually became a fully-fledged member of the X-Men. Ever since, she has been a trusted member of the team.
In Fraymakers, Rogue's appearance is specifically based off her movesets in X-Men vs Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom 2, combining her abilities in those two games.
A speedy fighter who is able to burst down her opponents with strong movement & above average frame data. With her Power Drain special, she is able to temporarily power herself up & weaken her opponent, giving her incredible versatility in what would be otherwise difficult matchups.
Strengths:
+Solid movement & combo potential with multiple mobility specials.
+Versatile tools to discourage opponents from zoning her out.
+Power Drain can turn the match hugely into her favor, filling any holes in her moveset.
+Most of her kit is just pretty good overall, leaving very few areas with obvious gaps.
Weaknesses:
-Poor range on her normals often means she has to very carefully position herself around the opponent to combo properly.
-If she can't hit Power Drain, she struggles defensively & has weaker KO moves.
-Power Drain changes depending on the opponent & match conditions, so the player lacks control over the buffs they have access to.
-A very honest fighter with few gimmicks (besides Power Drain), which may cause problems against more unusual fighters.

Gimmicks[]
Power Drain[]
Using her down special, Rogue can drain the powers of her opponent, buffing herself and nerfing her opponent. Excluding Life Up, all power drain effects last 5 seconds. The effect will clear if either Rogue or the drained opponent is KO'd.
Depending on the opponent's properties and the current state of the match, Power Drain has a different effect. From highest to lowest priority, these are the possible effects of Power Drain:
-If Rogue is over 100 damage: The opponent takes 10 extra damage, and Rogue heals 20 damage. [Life Up]
-Otherwise, if the opponent has ANY attacks with super armor: Rogue gains super armor on all of her attacks, and the opponent loses all super armor they have on any attacks. [Super Armor]
-Otherwise, if the opponent has faster frame data on their Strong attacks than Rogue (combination of start & end lag): The frame data of all of Rogue's attacks is sped up by 40%, and the frame data of all of the opponent's attacks is slowed down by 30%. [Speed Up]
-Otherwise, if the opponent deals more damage with their Strong attacks than Rogue: All of Rogue's damage is increased by 40%, and the damage of the opponent is decreased by 30% [Power Up]
-Otherwise, if the opponent weighs more than Rogue: Rogue and her opponent switch weights. [Defense Up]
-If none of the above are true: Rogue heals 10 damage. [Life Up]

Down Special
Power Drain
Rogue reaches forward & kisses the opponent. A command grab. If it connects, activates the Power Drain status effect (described above), and throws the opponent behind her. This is her best move, use it - but be careful not to fish for it too much, or you could be punished.

Super Attack
Raging Demon
Rogue rushes towards the opponent. If she connects, the screen turns white, and punch sparks appear where the opponent was. After the move, the opponent will be grounded, and Rogue will be posing with an "X" symbol in the background. At a high enough percent, this will instakill. Copied from Akuma, naturally.
